O EMHA foi financiado através do projeto European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN) com 100 000€ para garantir a criação de uma base de dados única, com toda a informação disponível dos utentes nos vários sistemas de informação hospitalares do ULSGE, ULS EDV e ULS RA, para apoio à realização de estudos observacionais / real world evidence (RWE).

Este projeto garantirá também a adoção do standard europeu de registo de dados - common data model (CDM) OMOP, o qual foi já adotado em 187 instituições de saúde a nível europeu.

Estima-se que a implementação deste projeto esteja finalizada no final de 2023 e passível de ser utilizada por investigadores.

EMHA received a €100,000 grant through the European Health Data & Evidence Network (EHDEN) project to create a single database. This database will consolidate all available patient information from the various hospital information systems of the ULSGE, ULS EDV, and ULS RA to support observational studies / real-world evidence (RWE).

This project will also ensure the adoption of the European data registry standard, the OMOP Common Data Model (CDM), which has already been adopted by 187 healthcare institutions across Europe.

It is estimated that the implementation of this project will be finalized by the end of 2023 and will be available for use by researchers.
